You can find all our latest news on Facebook, so come and 'like' us and keep up to date with what's going on.
Newsletter
We send out an annual report every year to update you on what we've achieved. If you would like to receive this, then join our mailing list below. We will not use your address to hassle you for money, though we may contact you from time to time when someone is looking for sponsorship.
Volunteering
Unfortunately we are not a charity that regularly takes volunteers out to Uganda. Our preference is to support our team through capacity building. We are however, always open to any individual who thinks they have the right skills and time to help us with what we do. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss with you.
Regular Giving
The best way to support our work in a sustainable way is to become a regular supporter with a monthly donation. This allows us to build a sustainable income stream and plan ahead for the projects we are delivering with greater certainty .
Single Donation
If you simply want to make a one-off donation, then that is fine as well. £15 pays for one member to have access to our recreational activities for a whole year; and £20 pays for one participant on one of our programmes.
VTS Sponsor
If you want to see a tangible impact from your donation, or you have more money you'd like to donate, then why not sponsor one of our Vocational Training places (£700), and support a young person to acquire the skills to support themselves and their family.
Buy a Book
We appreciate some people don't just want to give money. So we have commissioned a children's book, with both the author and illustrator donating their time. Buy a book (for £8.99 + pp) and you will help fund our work, while getting a present at the same time.
Other Ways to Give
We partner with Virgin Money Giving to help us raise money. So why not take on your own challenge and raise money for us at the same time. Simply choose your event and then set up a fundraising page on virgin money giving
Payroll Giving is an easy way of giving money to charity without paying tax. Check if your employer is signed up (bug them until they do) and then start giving!
We have teamed up with Bills That Give – a fantastic initiative that helps you donate to us for free just by paying your bills! You pay them anyway, but at no extra cost you could be supporting our work in Uganda.
